LEAVING YOUR JOB. LEAVING YOUR CAREER.
Updated: Dec 12, 2022
When I left my job, I left my job title.
When I left my job beginning of 2021, I left my job title. 👋
Makes sense.
But then, there was this "weird" moment when updating my LinkedIn profile.
Being my "grown up self" and for the first time, not having a job/title. Because of starting something completely new in and with my life. It felt unfamiliar to me. Confusing.

And so many new questions that suddently were on my mind.
❔❔❔Who am I without a job title? How to fill this "blank space"? Who am I until "getting a new title"?
What meaning has a job title in my world? In the society?
How did this even become a topic to me?
What that experience of BEING without a job title tought me:
It tought me to share "more of me", to tell my story and what's behind, to introduce myself in a different way, to change my way of asking & my way of being curious when meeting new people (less of "...and what do you do for work"?). It tought me to be more aware that there is more: values, stories, experiences, motivation, moments...
